Just a one-hour flight from São Paulo, Florianópolis—known locally as Floripa—is one of Brazil’s most beautiful, peaceful, and safe destinations, renowned for its beaches, natural scenery, and relaxed lifestyle. Mohammed visited Floripa several times during his stay in Brazil, and it has become one of his favorite places in the country.
If you wish to extend your stay in Brazil, join us on the Island of Magic for a few days of sunshine and great food. We will be staying in Jurerê and recommend that everyone book accommodations nearby.

Our story
A Diplomatic Love Written by Destiny
Some stories begin simply, almost casually, yet carry something special from the very start. Ours has a touch of technology and encounters that chance decided to bring together.
Mohammed, an American diplomat in São Paulo, arrived with a mission to connect cultures and lead technological advancements. Little did he know that technology would also connect hearts. We met through an app—a small digital nudge from destiny—and soon we were exchanging messages, even in different languages. He bravely trying Portuguese, and I on a mission to understand what he was saying, both of us laughing at the inevitable mix-ups.
Our first date took place at Soho House, but it was while walking through Ibirapuera Park that we truly fell in love. The setting was beautiful, the conversation flowed, and after a stroll among the trees, we found our true shared language.
After our walks, we would naturally head to deBetti restaurant, which became one of our favorite places. The great food, the consistently impeccable meat, and the welcoming atmosphere became part of our weekend routine—a setting where conversations linger and the connection grows stronger.
And so, between digital messages, park strolls, and laughter about accents, our story was built with ease and intention. A promise ring sealed what we already knew: we chose to walk together, sharing life and blending cultures, languages, and dreams—in our own way.
And it is with gratitude for the past, joy in the present, and hope for the future that our story continues—now, forever.
